The Handshake Foundation’s Arts program is fast becoming a sought after destination for students with an eye toward performing, production and digital arts.
Young photographers at Carson High School had the opportunity to meet and be mentored by top working professionals including Chris Polk at Getty Images. With school funding being cut, students learned the basics of photography by using their phones. The program is affectionately called, So Long Selfie, Hello World.
